Safari is perfect adventure package to enjoy holiday. Elephant riding is an
activity full of enjoy entertainment and pleasure. It also gives you taste of
royalty. Majority
of wildlife lovers make use of the elephant safari for fun an entertainment in
jungles since the elephant can go anywhere in jungle and nature where other
mechanical vehicles can’t reach. Around the Royal time period of India the
elephant ride was the signature of royalty and kingdom.
An elephant ride takes you to
the Amber Fort. One elephant can accommodate 3-4 travelers. Enjoy the elephant
ride and make sure you are carrying caps to beat the harsh Rajasthan summers,
in case you are traveling during summers. It is the best way of reaching the
wonderful fort. For sure you will remember the experience for long. The
elephant ride to the fort is in itself an attraction of the fort.
Jaipur is only place where
Elephants are found.Apart from Jaipur you cannot find elephants across
Rajasthan. There are more than 300 Adult Elephants in the city and most of them
are used for Safari, Wedding and Advertisements.
Eleven kilometers from Jaipur is
the historic Amber Fort that springs from the hills .The Amber fort is standing
example of Mughal and Rajput architectural style of architecture and bears
testimony to the prowess of the mighty Kachawaha dynasty. An elephant ride
takes you form Jaipur to the Amber Fort.
The
Amer fort of Jaipur is also referred to as Amber, a name which matches its
golden-brown colour. This stunning fort built of white marble and red sandstone
sits atop a hill with the blue waters of the Maota Lake framing its reflection.
Seeing
visitors on elephant back up to the Amber Fort was a sight to see. Its a bit of
a touristy thing to travel up to the main gate and courtyard on the back of an
elephant, but it is part of the fun – and yes I’ve done it. The ride on
elephant back was very thrilling with a great view of the lake and town beneath
as you move your up the winding path to the fort uphill. Some may feel
uncomfortable due to animal rights issue, but I heard that their local
government had strict guidance for all elephants here such as they only allowed
a certain number of rides in one day. Overall, it was a pleasant experience,
except for the harassment by photographers who take your photo while going up
on the elephant.
A
wonderful day of leisure in the comfort of an exclusive and personalized environment
and beautiful setting.
